“Students are always Unique and Diversed"

After the unexpected event that happened last time in which I had to teach for ahead of the schedule, I continued my teaching in CRMS6 on 5th of February in which I dealt with M3.12 class. This class, according to teachers, is the nicest and behaved class among the classes of M3, and I can personally justify it. I taught them about Galaxy and during my teaching in their class, they are all quiet whenever I talk for important concepts. And what’s the thing that I really love with this class is they are really interested on your lesson and they are enjoying the new method that I am using. Though they have difficulty in expressing themselves in English, they tried to raise question that are really related to our topic. Furthermore, they are participative in class discussion.

The next day, February 6, I dealt with M2.10 and M3.9 classes. M2.10 class is somehow similar with the class I had before which are noisy since majority of the class were comprised by boys. I taught them about Chemical Reactions in Daily Life and somehow I felt that they are having difficulty in understanding the lesson because of the great surge of information that I’m giving them. The time that I sensed that problem, I eventually tripped down the information and tried to explain the concepts in its simplest sense. On the otherhand, I taught M3.9 class about Galaxy and discussed it almost the same way as the last time I taught the lesson on the previous M3 classes.

On the succeeding days, February 7 to February 9, I attended and taught the rest of my scheduled classes with almost the same way I taught the other classes, and as a summary I can say that I am satisfied with my teaching and performance. And though I encountered hardships like how can I explain the concept in a simpler manner, and how can I manage to make my students answer my question and be more participative in class discussion, still I’m satisfied because somehow I managed to find solutions for those problems.

Furthermore, I discovered more things about Thai students; they like to listen on teachers with loud voice and teachers who always talk in front for most of the time, focused much on school activities and they are really artistic in their own different crafts. And what I really love with them, Thai students, though they are having difficulty in expressing themselves in English, they show you respect and immeasurable affection on teachers like me.
